Installing SWR and RF Power Sensor in uBITX I modified the I2C Type Signal Meter firmware to display SWR when using Nextion LCD in uBITX. Release I2C Type Signal Meter firmware V0.8, If you want something stable, use V 0.7 (V0.8 is a beta version) Now if you are using the I2C Type Signal Meter, you do not need to update the uBITX firmware and the Nextion LCD GUI. You only need to upload the firmware of the I2C Type Signal Meter to V0.8.

Backup uBITX configuration using QR Code If you are using the CEC firmware and Nextion LCD, you can back up the configuration file in a simple way. If you have an internet-enabled mobile phone, you can back up various configuration files.

uBITX Firmware CEC Version 1.1 Release Version 1.1 is the first major release since 1.097,  I will release it after a 50-day beta test. Version 1.1 includes all additions or improvements from 1.08 to 1.09, 1.093, 1.095, 1.097

Standalone Signal Analyzer (I2C Type Signal-Meter) for uBITX Create and use with Character LCD This idea was discussed in the uBITX group ( https://groups.io/g/BITX20/topics ). I used a separate Arduino to expand the limited I/O. The material needed is Arduino Nano, two resistors and one capacitor, Estimated cost is less than $3. Now, since it is the initial version, only the received signal is measured, but if it is applied a little, output power and SWR can be measured together.

Setting CW options in uBITX with Nextion LCD (Version 1.097) This document is intended to explain before you deploy 'CEC Firmware Version 1.097' CEC Firmware Version 1.097 will be released within one week. 1.CW Options settings in Nextion LCD Added the ability to set CW Options at GUI by user's request. Of course, CW options can be set in the same way as Character LCD. We call it Text mode.  However, we added the CW option setting function in Version 1.097 so that it is more convenient in the GUI and can be quickly changed during CW operation.

Nextion, TJC, Character LCD current consumption When using Nextion LCD, the first question I get is 'What is the current consumption?' I do not know. I did not even know the name of Nextion LCD until recently. CEC Firmware Users continued to talk about Nextion LCD, so I got to know Nextion LCD. I even confused TJC LCD and Nextion LCD. Instruments used in this document are not guaranteed to be accurate.

Creating a simple S-Meter Sensor for uBITX ( LM358 Version ) If you are already using S-Meter, you do not need to view this document.  This document is for those who do not have an S-Meter Sensor or want to use some of the features using S-Meter on the Nextion LCD . There are various ways to attach S.Meter to uBITX. You can find things on the Internet that are far superior to what I have created. uBITX Firmware CEC version is based on unmodified uBITX . However, to see the strength of the received signal, you have to attach the sensor. Of course, there is no problem in using CEC firmware without a signal meter sensor . Most people I know have not installed an S-meter yet.
