This idea was discussed in the uBITX group (https://groups.io/g/BITX20/topics).
I used a separate Arduino to expand the limited I/O. The material needed is Arduino Nano, two resistors and one capacitor, Estimated cost is less than $3.
Now, since it is the initial version, only the received signal is measured, but if it is applied a little, output power and SWR can be measured together.

CEC Firmware Version 1.097 will be released within one week.

1.CW Options settings in Nextion LCD
Added the ability to set CW Options at GUI by user's request.
Of course, CW options can be set in the same way as Character LCD. We call it Text mode.  However, we added the CW option setting function in Version 1.097 so that it is more convenient in the GUI and can be quickly changed during CW operation.

CEC Firmware supports a variety of LCD Types (The 16x02 LCD included with uBITX, 20x04 LCD, I2C type LCDS, and Nextion or TJC LCD)
The memory channel in uBITX started to be supported by CEC Firmware Version 1.0
The basic usage is the same in the latest version

uBITX firmware CEC Version is based on uBITX which has not modified anything. Prior to deployment, the 16x02 LCD with built-in is tested first. Nextion LCD, TJC LCD, 20x04 LCD and I2C LCD are not essential for using uBITX Firmware CEC version.
In order to view signals from Character LCD or Nextion LCD, Signal Meter Sensor must be installed. Of course, CEC Firmware operates normally even if S-meter sensor is not installed.
